HOW TO USE THE BOARDS

Our most popular items are learning resources for children to promote creativity, hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. We create name boards, alphabet boards, math boards and creative images for children to use in learn and play activities. we also stock an array of sensory play boards too that are used in conjunction with other items such as sensory doh or wax crayons for rubbings. see our Instagram feed for inspiration on how these versatile resources can be used

Using these boards in a number of creative ways can be beneficial to children’s learning.
Fill the boards with coloured sand or rice to spark creativity.
Use tweezers or chopsticks to fill boards with coloured chickpeas to strengthen hands and improve hand eye coordination. These fine motor skills are so important to get children ready for writing.
Use boards as playdough stamps or take crayon rubbings as further play opportunities.
There are so many great ways to learn through play with our oak boards.
